COHORT EXPERIENCE —

4 Month Journey with 12 Leaders

  • Retreats offer an opportunity to disconnect from your daily routine and immerse yourself into a shared collective experience.

    Critical concepts are introduced outlining the integrated leadership framework as well as structures & processes for building a leadership community.

  • These learning modules are shaped and designed around vital themes, topics, & fun to help create the necessary environment to support participant growth & development.

    In addition to teaching, participants will go through experiential exercises to immediately apply the learning.

  • Virtual live group EQ sessions offer the necessary time to deepen your capacity for emotional awareness & relational connection through group learning, engagement, processing & practicing of the work with other leaders in the Cohort.

  • Throughout the Cohort schedule there are group events designed to create deeper community, collaborate throughout leadership challenges, and create spaces to integrate the work with others.

Some Topics We Will Explore

  • FORMING A LEADERSHIP COMMUNITY

    We begin by reviewing the vision and purpose of the curriculum, introduce key concepts for integrated leadership, and outline the structure and process for building a powerful leadership community.

  • LEADERSHIP JOURNEY

    Reflect on the life and lessons of a leadership avatar, examining how their character, purpose, and journey will help participants connect to their backstory & grow their leadership.

  • FACING YOUR FEAR

    Learn how to explore our fears and to access the wisdom & courage needed to confront our personal and professional giants. Participants will learn to hold the tension and utilize their story, gifts, and allies to engage courageous leadership.

  • FACING THE FUTURE

    Don’t obsess over the future. Learn about the difference between power and force. Learn to rely on authentic power and collaborative power of others, building trust and determination to accomplish great things.​

  • THE WISDOM OF DESCENT

    Help value and learn from failures and shortcomings instead of being paralyzed by toxic shame and regret. Instead utilize the opportunity to engage kindness, curiosity, and creativity to mature leadership character and capacity.​

  • GROWING YOUR INFLUENCE

    Explore how we can own our power and grow capacity to lead constructive change within our spheres of influence. Growing one’s influence through varying expressions of power can be a differentiator setting great leaders apart.​

  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS OF TRUST

    Identify and establish relationships of trust to access and provide deeper levels of friendship, support, and connection needed to better function as leaders and teammates.

  • CROSSING THRESHOLDS OF GROWTH

    Close with exploring how to cross thresholds of growth at critical times and how transformational leaders seek others for help and strength when faced with difficult decisions and circumstances.

MEET THE FACILITATORS —

  • Brad spent 12-years in Corporate America at two Fortune 100 companies building teams, developing leaders, elevating cultures, and leading transformation throughout organizations. Brad has worked with hundreds of leaders who oversee thousands of employees in 20+ different industries and all over the world. Brad has work with Executives, Leaders, Boards, Athletes, Musicians, and many other high performing individuals to help them all get the most out themselves through the integration of EQ with IQ. Over the last 7 years, Brad has built The Collective Global into a consulting firm known for engaging equally the EQ with IQ, leading teams through the path of true transformation, and creating bridges to integrate human development between work and home. Brad enjoys traveling, sports, fly fishing, nightly conversations with his wife, and raising 3 amazing boys.

  • Hailing from South Africa, Rob is the CEO and co-founder of Transformed Leader helping mission-driven organizations and leaders overcome their greatest challenges. He uses experiential and transformative learning processes to guide frustrated, depleted, and fragmented leaders into new levels of growth. Rob holds a Masters degree in Social & Civic Entrepreneurship, and a Doctorate of Transformational Leadership. He has built a variety of experience in sales, event management, video production, & emotional intelligence work over the past 12 years. His ability to tell stories, connect with others & ask great questions, paralleled with his commitment to his own self-awareness work and becoming a student of leadership, has allowed him to help guide leaders of all ages through leadership challenges as senior consultant & director of production at the collective global.

    Large and small organizations often provide reimbursement for professional development expenses. You can use our proposal for reimbursement template to present a case for investing in this to your team. You might also consider sharing the Benefits of Emotional Intelligence page with them.

  • Our suggestion is to make it to every session if possible, as that will ensure you get the absolute best out of this experience. However, we totally get that life happens. Just drop a quick message to the group letting them know you won't be able to make it, so they can proceed without waiting for you.

  • Trust and confidentiality are our top priorities. You will never need to share or discuss anything you don’t want to, including sensitive topics. The facilitators adhere to ethical guidelines, and ask the group members to do the same, what is spoken about in group and the names of individuals are confidential. This creates an atmosphere of safety which is so important for growth and well-being.
